Fort Helios also known as Helios Fortress was known to be a large Imperial Fortress that was located on Earth at the time of the Earth Imperial War, during the time of the Galactic Empire's Occupation of the planet, that was once known to have been one of the most largest brunch of Imperial constructed military instillations on Earth, during the early years of the Earth Imperial War, and was located in the Sahara Desert in North Africa, that was mainly used as an official Refueling station and further command structure for Imperial forces within the Sahara Desert, and was mainly known to be used for ferrying supplies to and from the surface of Earth to the Imperial Navy in Orbit.
The Fortress was attacked on May 14th, 2024, by Earth Resistance forces during the time of the 4th year of the Imperial Occupation of the Planet during the first hours of the Battle of the Sahara, while Tyderrium Dropships were being refueled. The fortress was severely damaged during the attack, and was captured by the Resistance, that same day, and was held by the Resistance until May 15th, when the Earth Resistance boarding forces had launched in order to begin their attack on the Sidiosus in Orbit.
The base was abandoned by the Earth Resistance, 2 hours after the launching of the dropships, in order to continue the Sahara Campaign, and was reclaimed by the Galactic Empire, but was rendered too unstable for continuous Operations for the Galactic Empire on Earth, and was demolished 3 weeks later on June 5th, 2024 by the Galactic Empire.
