The Holocaust also known as Operation Retaliation, The Nuclear Holocaust of 1992 or The Nuclear Winter of 1992, was a failed desperate attempt thought up by Michael Manlien in hopes of destroying the Trade Federation Invaders with the use of Nuclear weapory.
Conducted by the People of Earth during the Far Away War on September 29th, of 1992, every nation known to house Nuclear missles, fired every one of them into space in order to try and wipe out the Trade Federation in Space with the use of Nuclear Weaponry from the Nuclear powers of the Planet.
The Attempt failed after the Trade Federation Blockade wiped out all 899,000 Missiles that were launched from the Planet towards the fleet, and many of those that did hit the fleet left no damage or scratches.
Some other Nuclear Weapons were blasted off course where they Instead blew up into Space, or crashed down back into the Earth rendering a Nuclear Apocalypse killing over 36 percent of the worlds inhabitants planet wide, and turning 45 to 70 percent of the planet into a wasteland that will be later known as No Man Lands.
The event of this failed Holocaust left the whole world without Nuclear Weaponry, and many of the others that attempted to save the rest of they're Nuclear rockets were later discovered and dismantled by the Trade Federation ground Invasion a year following the failed Holocaust in 1993, by that time Earth was completely Occupied, with only small portions on the planet left still in Human hands.
